It's Time To Relax!
Introducing our new Massage & Sauna offerings
Nothing says RELAX like a great massage or time in the sauna to unwind and recharge.
At English Meadows we've created a simple winter retreat, right here in our own back yard.
We converted our seasonal two bedroom bungalow into a spa, offering a variety of massage options for our guests, delivered by talented, local licensed therapists.
And we've installed a brand new sauna, just in time for the cold season to kick in!

Meet "Steamy" our brand new Ponobscot Mini Sauna
The Penobscot Sauna is crafted from choice Eastern White cedar. 2-4 people can relax comfortably around the Harvia heater, the perfect spot for quiet meditation.
The heat from the sauna relaxes the body’s muscles, improves circulation, and stimulates the release of endorphins, the body’s all-natural “feel good” chemical...and along with making you feel good—helps minimize the pain of arthritis and muscle soreness.
A sauna not only feels good, it’s good for your body. Whether it’s the physiological changes that occur during the warmth of a sauna or simply the time spent in the calming and still retreat of the sauna, every seasoned sauna bather agrees – it feels wonderful!
Pricing:
45 minute sauna sessions = $45 per person
Add ons:
After your sauna, sit by our fire pit or relax inside one of our guest lounges and enjoy a hydrating fruit plate with 2 smoothies = $30
How to book your "Steamy" sauna experience:
You must call us to schedule your sauna session. While same day bookings may be possible, we strongly encourage you to plan in advance. Our outdoor sauna takes time to prepare for your arrival, and daily availability is limited.

Bungalow Spa Services
Welcome to our cozy English Meadows Bungalow,
where you can escape the chill outside and indulge inside.
Our seasonal cottage has been transformed into a winter spa house, offering professional massages from one of our local, licensed massage partners.
The term “Swedish Massage” refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular program for stress management.
The warmth of the hot stones is an excellent component to help aid in relaxation. It is also a great choice for those individuals who have muscle tension and prefer a lighter massage. The heat allows the muscles to relax and this enables the therapist to work the muscles without relying on deep pressure.
