For several days in the beginning of June, the art and culinary worlds converge in Kennebunkport. Celebrity chefs and internationally know artists partner to pair palates with palettes. We are one of sponsors of the event and are honored to be hosting Dale Ratcliff and her husband Charles Movalli in residence at English Meadows on June 6th and 7th, 2008. Guests who stay for the weekend will be treated to (all included in the room rate): Breakfast with Dale Ratcliff; Saturday afternoon cocktail party honoring Dale; Two tickets to the Arts in the Inns Invitational Showing and Inns Tour.

We also have access to tickets for exclusive events like TopChef's Sam Talbot's Clambake and the spectacular Twilight Soiree.

Spend some quality time with someone you love over Tea at the English Meadows. Our afternoon Tea is quiet, leisurely, indulgent way to spend part of an afternoon. Having in lived in London for several years, we know how to serve a "proper" afternoon English Tea. Homemade scones with lemon curd and Devonshire Cream are just the prelude to some delicious tea sweets. For guests staying at the Inn, you can add "Tea for Two" and have a bottle of champagne waiting in your room on arrival for an additional $50. Tea is served Thursday thru Saturday between 2-4:00 pm by reservation.
