Welcome to the
English Meadows
Inn
Experience the romance, comfort and charm of our classic English
"Country House" in a Kennebunkport
bed and
breakfast. The English "Country House" experience
offers different delights regardless of the season. In the spring and
summer, between the one hundred year old lilacs,
natural day lilies, the traditional cottage roses, and perennial gardens,
something is always in full bloom and our cutting garden supplies fresh flowers
for the rooms. In the fall and winter, our fireplaces and afternoon Tea will
warm up the chilliest days. The Inn's two acres of grounds and gardens are a great place to
wander about, catch up on a book in a lawn chair or come inside the carriage
house and curl up in front of the fire. Our lodging accommodations feature
ten bright and airy rooms and a cottage. All have a view of the gardens
and some have a fireplace and whirlpool tubs which can come in handy with the
sea breezes on cool evenings. Our collections of antiques, oriental rugs
and art are on display throughout the Inn.
Just an 8 minute walk from our Maine inn, Kennebunkport’s village and port are full of
life all seasons of the year. Ocean pursuits of fishing, sailing, kayaking or
just a cruise are amongst the best in New England. Great golf and tennis are
also right in the neighborhood. And our restaurants compete with best in
all of New England.
Our famous breakfast features local produce, and we do magical things with wild Maine blueberries.
Make a reservation for English Tea and enjoy scones, homemade lemon curd and
Devonshire Cream and the best pot of tea this side of Claridge's!
Our guests tell us our B&B’s comfortable, casually elegant style feels just right in
the summertime in Maine and the other
seasons. Whether you come to
Kennebunkport for a honeymoon, romantic retreat, or just to get away from the hustle for a few days, we hope you join us at the English Meadows Inn.
Please call for reservations and additional information.
